I think Steemit doesn't require quiting anything else. Youtube, blogs and freelancing take hell lot of time and effort. Steemit is far easier and friendly because all you need to do is to produce good content and engage with the community. It can be used with any other job or passion I think. The best case scenario would be to pay the bills with one stream of income and live a life with another.
