5 Things I’ve Learned while being in STEEMIT for about a Month

image These are a few things I’ve learned from being on Steemit for about a month now:

  1. My post interaction is random
  2. My poems do better than my fashion posts
  3. I’m not sure if my followers actually view/ get updated when I make a post
  4. I get followers each time I post but no upvotes or comments
  5. Who is following me? I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️

If there was a formula on here we'd all be rich!

I'd like if the follower list was chronological rather than alphabetical. It would make is so much easier to track who is following you.

If people are following you it will come up in their "Feed" but they won't get notified.

I'll follow you :)

Honestly steemit is still a tough place. Just remember its in beta, alot of side platforms are getting delegated to for people to use and make money off, some quick advice check out a few of the platforms that these blogs are connected to and use your posting key and test them out i i think youll get the results your looking for. @dtube @dlive @dsound @zappl @busy.org @viper.network @minnowsupport

Thank you for responding with some awesome advice! I appreciate it🙏

Hey no problem! I spend alot of time getting to know steemit, if you want give me a follow and ill write like the dopest blog for newcomers now that i have a way to show that, check out my blog my friend molly joined yesterday and with a little help it got noticed! Also looking to start my own hasttag that id curate #muchlove

Im following you! :)
I think part of it is finding your unique voice in this ecosystem. You are doing what we are all doing - trying lots of different stuff and seeing what works here and what doesnt. Lets chat later - I've got some ideas xx

Yesssss please👏🏻

Whilst I've been doing quite well here on Steemit, there's a lot of random crap I don't quite understand yet.
Like why certain posts I do, do better than others, even if they're not as good (in my opinion)?
I'm sure that these factors play a part - Time of post, tags, title, and then some random shit...
I also don't really understand why I had a post hit $155, then DROP down to $119. STill great, but that's a humongous drop. I thought it might have something to do with the value of Steem on the stock market, but it can happen if people revoke their vote or if you get downvoted/flagged, apparently. Either way, I'm baffled by how it all works.

Anyway, don't get frustrated, stay persistent and keep trying new things. The more creative the better. Oh, and make sure you get on to interacting on MSP Waves radio as much as possible.

Great to meet you!

Nice to meet you!!

Wouldn't have met you if Ben hadn't kindly put us both on his recommended list. Worth resteeming his post.
