RE: ...

Duly noted! I speak a few languages myself (though I can only write English and French)

Sometimes I wish I could find the French-speaking Steemians on here, maybe in the future I'll give this translation technique a go for some posts!

If you ever wanted some posts-translated to French I would definitely be your guy by the way @rok (though I have no idea if you have anybody who would be interested!)

I feel most frenchies on Steemit are the ones who got their fingers out their @$$ and actually autodiktat-ed themselves the language, so I don't know if it's as necessary as say translating for Asian and South American countries that have never really had the exposure to English like a lot of other countries' have

It'd be interesting actually to have some metrics on where all the Steemit users come from, which posts are written in which language! I wonder how truly global Steemit is, where the major players are, etc!

I bet whoever could perform that kind of analysis would do well on this platform :3

(I personally have 0 skills in statistics and metrics hahaha!)

Thanks for the post, bookmarked for that future reference day in my "Useful Steemit Posts" bookmark folder ;)

I know both @malik.roxane and @myrockandocean are based in Paris and are probably connected into some of the Steemit community there - perhaps you might wanna connect with them to find more Frenchies... ;-)

Nice! Let me get on the Steemit Chat and make some connecs! Although seems malik.roxanne is based in Brussels! (Great, that would actually make her my countrymate!) Appreciated rok xx

hmmm... she had posted a video that looked like alot of it was filmed in Paris - maybe I just made the assumption.

either way, she definitely speaks/writes French - also stated on that dTube post, "From scratch, I built the French community"... had also hit me up for some content she was putting together for a book on Steemit in French, so regardless of location, it'd be a good inroad...
