A strange thing happend with me a few minutes ago. I was scrolling my posts to put a link on an old post to a new one, in order not to write the same things again, but I found only the posts I made for last two months.
Does steemit delete old posts? Or it's just a bug?
Or if we have an access only to two last months posts - why?
Personaly I put really much effort in to all my posts. If the post contains only a picture - then it's my picture. And if it's a post with text - then I put effort in it in other way (especially considering the fact that english is not my native). I try to do them interesting and informative, and sometimes I make series of posts, and it takes a lot of time, and they can have more then two months pause between.
So... A question:) Is it a bug or I really have no access to them?
Until I know, all the posts are forever in the blockchain
I know this too, but I just can't see them. So thats why I'm asking.
Steem does not delete posts they exists on the blockchain, it is likely simply a UI glitch.
I really hope so:)
That's a good question I'd like to know as well. I've been noticing the last day or so that replies and feed aren't updated. Is Steemit glitching out? Or maybe it's just my computer...
I have updated replied, but this happens time to time.
I just checked out some other peoples' posts and there are definitely posts listed that are more than two months old. The only thing that I can think of is that Steemit may limit the number of posts that they list, as you do have a lot of posts.
I post every day since I joined, true. But anyway I'd be glad to have access to older posts
Not a pleasant thing to know :|
Wow-wow, I don't say that it's true, I just asking:)
You asked because it happened. I'm not happy with the fact that it even happened. If it's a temporary glitch then it's accepted and your post must be treated as a premium feedback to the team
We'll see how it will go. May be really just a litited amount of posts are shown in the blog feed
fingers crossed
I have only been steeming since July, but I have access to them all.
As far as I'm aware they can't be edited but they are in the blockchain. Low voted or flagged posts I've noticed in general are hidden sometimes, but can still be revealed.
My poor internet access can make it slow process if I am simply scrolling through my feed.
I scrolled your blog, I see all the posts:) May be it's my personal bug:)
i feel sorry for you, i got some problems too.. with correctly display..
i think its maybe a bug
I really hope so. And hope it'll be fixed soon:)
i am with you, .. keep your head up :)
I just scrubbed through your blog (jeez! XD) and got stuck somewhere in 2 months ago on the Harry Potter drawing from memory post on both steemit and busy.org, but looking on steemd showed everything going back to account creation, so you haven't lost anything (and shouldn't have considering how this thing is supposed to work!).
I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark guess and say the script is truncating after a certain point so it doesn't kill the browser with unresponsive script errors that could happen if the continuous scroll page goes on forever.
Perhaps steemit et al needs to implement a normal pager for people who want to go back to inception XD
hello again..
maybe its not a bug ^^
my english is not so good, that i can explain, how exactly this works, but i think and hope this tutorial will be a little bit helpful to you and others..

i think he explains at circa 19m:40s your problem with the hidden posts..
wish u all the best
Thank you fr the tip!
Someone suggested you may not be able to access all posts due to many posts you made. I have 150+ posts started in January and can access my first posts still. Have also a lot of comments. Total a bit less than you, but not more than 800 less (post+comments).
I noticed yesterday some troubles with the Steemit servers, HTTP 503 error several times, also some days ago had same error in browser several times. Should not have to do anything with your problem, but maybe Steemit Inc is updating patches to the software and causes UI filter errors?
Did you try another UI to Steem blockchain? Busy.org or eSteem App/desktop client?
That's too complicated:) I think I'll wait for a couple of days to see what will go on
