Yes, you own it! You also have the rights to protect the image, so if someone used it on their blog or Steem post, you can request them to remove it immediately. It's up to you what type of rights you want to give for others to use the image. You can charge a licensing fee, or you can give a Creative Commons licence where it is free, but has limitations such as not using it for business purposes.
