Just like in any community, be it online or offline, it is always good to observe certain code of conduct to ensure that we all can enjoy the best experience possible. Same thing applies to Steemit community.
My personal take on this is : HONEST (abbreviation)
What do I mean?
Let me further elaborate on what constitute a good Steemian :
Humble
(being humble will go a long way as there are so many things we don't know that we don't know)
Objective
(everyone entitled to their view and their way of expression, so accept them objectively)
Nice
(be nice to the peer steemian, especially the new comers)
Engage
(for a social media platform to flourish, engagement from the users are paramount, so, let's post, comment and upvote where it deemed fit)
Sense of humour
(life is not as long as you might think it will last, so, maintain a good sense of humour and laugh out loud where possible)
Truthful
(be real and always say what you meant, meant what you say)
That's it! HONEST is my personal code of conduct for being a good Steemian.
What's yours?
A good Steemian will read and like my posts ;) !
@room1079 : hahaha, there is no like button in Steemit :-)
