Let's admit it, most of us here joined Steemit with one common goal in mind, to earn money. When my friend first told me about Steemit, it seemed like a easy way to earn some extra money so I jumped right in! Those of us who managed to survive Steemit for a decent time, know that it's not so easy to earn money here.

This is for all the newbies out there!

To gain a decent number of followers, one has to invest a lot of their time and effort in generating posts with good content one after the other. Your initial posts might not earn a lot of money, may be not even a couple of dollars. This is when most people get disheartened and give up. Like in every work you do in life, nothing comes easy and instantly. You have to put in the work! If you are able to overcome this mindset of earning money and just enjoy creating good content, money will come in eventually. Money should never be the focus, it should always be a by-product that is bound to come in.

Enjoy steemit! There's such awesome content and people out here, interact with them, take a genuine interest in what's happening on this platform. This interest is the best investment you can put in to build your account.
