Well this time I want to share this information translated from the author @fakj94 who is very good at this.
In this guide
I will show you a step by step (as I do) of what you need to get the generated in Steemit for your posts or curation and turn it into other cryptomonedas in which you want to invest or pass it to your local money. I will divide the article into three blocks and in the end I will leave you a daily quality photo in case you did not like the post !:
- Part 1: Do you want to save money on Bitcoins?
- Part 2: Do you want to exchange your Steem or SBD income for other cryptomonedas and save them?
- Part 3: Do you want to acquire local money or some central currency for your Steem or SBD?
Go to the part that is of your interest to optimize your time and start to change your coins, entering into an exciting economic world! But first read everything that involves poloniex and get the money from Steemit in Part 1 because this step you would use it in any of the other parts.
I also recommend using the page: coinmarketcap.com to analyze and compare the prices of cryptomonedas at their highest or lowest points and thus optimize when to sell or buy.
Steemit, a growing world
Part 1:
Want to save on Bitcoins?
If you want to save on bitcoins, you will need an account at poloniex.com and an account in a virtual wallet. Personally I use blockchain.info (I think it is the most popular and most used). Create these accounts before starting the process!
The account in poloniex serves you to convert cryptomonedas between themselves.
Once the poloniex account has been created (simple steps like any creation of an account) you go into the Balance menu and give it to Deposits / Withdrawal and you will see the following (line of images step by step):
The code 018f038d2ef0ed04 (THIS CODE IS AN EXAMPLE AND IS PERSONAL, YOU WILL APPROPRIATE ONE DIFFERENT, DO NOT USE THIS), it is the memo that you will place in the Steemit transaction that I will explain to you right now. Just copy and paste it.
To get your SBD or Steemit from Steemit you must get into your wallet, select transfer on the information of your SBD or Steem:
Once you have given that button, this menu will appear:
You must transfer the SBD or Steem you want to withdraw (PENDING WHAT COIN YOU HAVE AND YOU WANT TO TAKE OFF!) To the poloniex "account" with the memo that the page gives you. Once you have filled all the fields you give to Submit.
Once again you enter to Poloniex and after a certain time that you can be pending in the section of History in Balances:
You will see here when the deposit of your SBD or Steem is made (they are usually two or three minutes at most, at least in Venezuela).
Then you get into the Exchange menu (which is like the main page) you select in the menu next to the STEEM or SBD currency and you go to the transaction box below, here the photos:
At the top of this box you can select the default exchange, in my case I buy bitcoins.
In amount you place the amount of STEEM or SBD that you want to sell for bitcoins or some other selected currency and then give it to Sell.
Already with the bitcoins in your account, you get back in the Balances section and then Deposits / Withdraw and you type btc (abbreviation of bitcoins) in the search engine, then you give to withdraw and copies in the Address section the address that the Portfolio of bitcoins gave you to do the transaction.
UP TO HERE WITHDRAW
The portfolio aspect of bitcoins is as follows:
Once you have the wallet I recommend that you configure it to your language so that you understand it better and that you also make it as safe as possible with the different possible authentication sources (if you have doubts when doing this, you can comment me anything and I will help you : D)
When you receive it, a window opens on the same page where you get the address code that you should copy in poloniex at the time of withdraw. Remember that in this portfolio ONLY you receive Bitcoins
Press next and go, in a matter of minutes the page will make the satisfactory beep that you received the bitcoins!
Part 2:
Do you want to exchange your Steem or SBD income for other cryptomonedas and save them?
In this case you would only need a poloniex.com account, with it you can exchange numerous cryptomonedas and store them in your own account (it is like an integrated wallet). You can also save on BTC here.
It is literal to do the steps of Part 1 only without the part of the wallet bitcoins. That is to say the step in which I mention the withdraw or withdrawal of the bitcoins from poloniex to the portfolio of bitcoins. Remember that poloniex also works as a cryptomonedas portfolio or a kind of bank in which you can save all your cryptomonedas before removing them to another account / place or before they are deposited in poloniex.
Part 3:
Do you want to acquire local money or some central currency for your Steem or SBD?
This being the case you will need a place where you can sell your cryptomonedas for money. As the most popular cryptomoneda is bitcoin, I use the market: localbitcoins.com where you exchange bitcoins for money. Go create a localbitcoins account here before starting the process!
For this part you must follow Part 1 step by step in relation to Poloniex until the withdraw part arrives, in this case you will not copy and paste the address that they give you in the virtual wallet but the address that you are given in the page of localbitcoins .com (all this in order to charge the lowest possible amount of commission on the part of the pages that make the exchanges or transactions).
I'll show you the general look of localbitcoins.com:
Above you have the important menus of buy, sell and wallet
First you give wallet and opens this menu:
In that menu you copy the code that shows you and you take it to the page of poloniex like address to which you will transfer the btc in the option of withdraw. Remember that localbitcoins exchange btc for local money.
In this menu (quick sell) you have to change the type of currency you want to receive, in which country (ie where you have your bank account or where you would receive the cash) and also the type of offer you want, as I said before: Cash , Transfer, deposit, paypal, etc. It all depends on the terms of each bidder and what resources you have. For now I have only sold bitcoins to Venezuelans who pay in VEF (strong bolivars) and I have done it from transfer with the same bank because the page gives you 90 minutes to make the purchase. Again, any questions at this stage just go to the comments box and I will help you !.
Even though it has a quick sell menu, I recommend you check each offer in detail from the list below and get your accounts.
In show more (below the list of offers) they show you a list of methods of payment available, check which one suits you more
I hope the guide has been your understanding and help you a lot to grow in the network!
