RE: Something BIG is Happening on Steemit

in #steemit8 years ago

So the idea is:

  1. Take a 1-3% of total payoff {for your post; 1-3% is your post's cut out of total payoff of the whole Steem system}. Income generated by not good distribution system in general - per your own view.
  2. If you make large number of people (say 20% of all users) find this great content - everybody is better off?
May I ask "Why?". Is it because the great content/curation gets only 1-3% of payout? (on top on a system with wrong incentives). Or how this proposal of yours makes any sense in your own mind, if this is an easier question?

To sum it up: 20% of the best users, find the greatest content for 1-3% of all the money paid daily on the Steemit?
And you call this:

The magic of Steemplus is that everybody wins.

Sort:

We choose 5 of the best recommended posts.
Here's the math:

Let's say a newspaper earns $300
Steemit naturally splits that up as so:
25% to curators
37.5% to author in SP
37.5% to author in SBD
The SBD earned is what's being rewarded.

Let's take the example of $300. 300 divided by .375 to get our SBD amount which is $112.5 SBD
Since we choose 5 winners who recommended the featured content, 112.5 is divided by 5. Which equals 22.5 SBD.

The reward is 22.5 SBD for that newspaper. 5 people win per day for recommending the featured posts, and we have a new newspaper every single day.

This is already in action and it's worked out perfectly. We just don't have the earnings we need to have a good incentive. But once we do have that incentive, more people will recommend posts, which increaes competition, which increases quality. And when you have a place where there's a ton of valuable content, everybody wins. Readership increases, and a community is built.

Not everybody wins rewards for recommending posts, everybody wins for having a place where high quality content is in abundance for everybody to see.

If you want to look it over, you can check out the main @steemplus account, the wallet, and users recommending posts.

Here's how it works in a simple infographic: https://steemit.com/steemplus/@steemplus/say-hello-to-steemplus-the-daily-newspaper-that-pays-you-to-recommend-high-quality-content-here-s-how-it-works-summarized-in-a

I have to figure out for myself - "are you too stupid to believe your own scheme, or you truly believe it"
At the end of the the day you try to pay with money received by Steem(it) [aka badly distributed rewards] to authors, curators and yourself(even if do not want to pay yourself you are forced to!!!)... and you claim somehow this will work great for everyone involved... But do not get stopped by my unbreakable logic -distribute the 3% of total Steem payout with your great scheme and make everything in Steemland roses and honey.

It's not a scheme. I'm not the only one who benefits. I only recieve money from powering down the STEEM Power. The rest of the money is simply distributed to those who linked to posts that we featured in our newspaper.

The proof is in the wallet. We have $0 in SBD because it's all been distributed to the winners of the past newspapers.

No trickery, no scam, no nonsense.
