I have a few posts that I am sitting on until the hardfork gets sorted. I feel like I have a pretty good grasp myself, but am concerned that the community will not provide the upvotes because of a lack of understanding. Over the last month of working on Steemit, I have really enjoyed the community and the function of the platform. I have been happy with the progress I've made and the rate at which my following and rewards have grown. From what I have seen, the adjustments in the hardfork are a direct response to whining from users that, frankly, didn't provide valuable content in the first place. Regardless, the changes don't do anything to help these people. Instead, they penalize bot users (poorly, a few changes to the code and they're back to normal operation) and make it more difficult for a large portion of the community to vote effectively. Instead of making things better for the minnow users, it widens the gap.
