Would Steemit Be The Next FaceBook?

I believe it has a great potential to replace it and we may see more platforms coming into to our lives as a result of the great success that steemit platform is providing for us.
Just by steem reaching out $8 this week, it took a lot of attention from people. I started getting some phone calls of people trying to find out how steemit works, what was my prediction, how to sign up, etc.
Can you imagine when we can to $20 or $50 levels? We would get a flood of people to steemit where we could easily have more than 5 millions subscribers real quick.
Do you think that after making $100 US dollars in a post, people will come back to FaceBook again? FaceBook will be History just like "My Space" has been. Since I started making some profits in steemit, I haven't come back to FaceBook myself and I think a lot of people will do the same.
If you have stocks on FaceBook, I think at this early stage of the game, it'll be a good ideas to pull out of there because the steemit storm is coming for them!

yesterday i have check that the people who the people who created the steemit account is more then the 8600.
can anyone believe this steemit got more then 8600 account in one day.
steemit is growing with amazing speed.
according to the the guess the price of the steem will be more then $100 in the end of the 2018.
i left using facebook when i start using facebook

I think there will always be multiply social networks that people will use based on there likes and incentives. We definitely have a ton of room to gain though for sure.

It is better then facebook but facebook is the old social app and has million of user so it is growing more then my imagination.
but steemit is also increasing and one day the user of the steemit will more then facebook.

Steemit has great potential to outrank Facebook but I think as more and more joining Steemit content quality is degrading.
I think more investors should join. It would help community grow and price will rise up.

Totally agree. I'm an investor myself and went crazy with it. It is still early, not late at all. Imagine when steem goes over $100? Anyone would have loved to join at $6

Life is very fast and things are changing day by day so it would be great if a storm of people is waiting to join steemit. Same went with me i had 3 calls in 2 days people were asking about steemit.

Interesting article. It doesn't really specify the way cryptos could be used in their platform. I doubt is anything similar to Steemit. Mostly likely some centralized system.
I agree. And If it will be decentralized then they might pre mine to keep control and profit as the coin appreciates in value.
Steemit has more earning points and giving inspire me. Changed my life also. Part of the confusion with Steemit lies in the different ways that the currency is presented to users.
At the root is the currency Steem, which is the typical transferrable, fungible, freely moveable token akin to bitcoin, ethereum or any other cryptocurrency. But that same Steem can be put into two different types of smart contracts depending on the particular utility an individual wants.
The first is called Steem Power, which provides utility and leverage. Steem Power is the backbone of an account's voting-potential. In other words, the more Steem Power an individual has, the stronger their vote is on Steemit.
I believe with above contents Facebook leave form top media and gives it to Steemit.

@javybar, I used facebook, whatsapp, twitter when I came to the steemit before. Also really addict there no thinking golden time. But I cam to steemit I understood why was I wasted much time un-valuable chats and non-important post and videos. I have understand now steemit blockchain giving more opportunities. I know more users join with steemit and leave from other networks. So I seriously think steemit will be No.1 popular media network.
i'm sure i will be very popular once mass of people realize about it. Some other apps are still useful even if we don't profit from them like whatsapp, but once steemit spreads more and more, they will be gone. More platform will come to replace them as well.

i noticed a thing the steem price is increase with the attention of new users and also the big crypto investors and the flood of new users increase its repo day by day now steemitis not famous bcz people dont know about steemit still and sure who listen the steemit name he try on steemit and when they work on steemit they forget the facebook and only stay on steemit

Well My favorite part of steemit is because it's a social media platform that is decentralized. Because socializing is part of who we are, and the best part is we get rewarded by ourselves with crypto money. This in and of itself has so much potential to be the greatest thing that ever happened to humanity. For we know there is no one corporation ripping us off and getting rich in the process, which I believe is a moral dilema. Therefore being part of this great community is very empowering and rewarding at the same time :)

I saw a thing the steem cost is increment with the consideration of new clients and furthermore the huge crypto financial specialists and the surge of new clients increment its repo step by step now steemitis not well known ...
cause individuals dont think about steemit still and beyond any doubt who listen the steemit name he attempt on steemit ..
and when they chip away at steemit they overlook the facebook and just remain on steemit...

Yes, thats true steemit gives us new platform to success in life.i think everybody stop using Facebook and start using steemit.for example I already stop using Facebook from I found steemit.i wish I had discover steemit earlier.

I am seeing Steemit as a world best social media network soon. Steemit is the one who changed my life not facebook, which is waste of time actually.

I couldn't agree more! In fact, in my classes, I have shared steemit to my students. A lot are veey interested. Although I couldn't share much information since I am a newbie. But nonetheless, I am trying my best to learn as much as I can and share those learnings to my students. Aside from that, I haven't seen any toxic post in this community. Such a fresh and healthy family! :-)

I really do not think they change their business model Facebook is not like steemit and the business model is so different
Here we are generate quality content and we are rewarded for that, the goal of Facebook is different is to sell our personal information that we gladly give for nothing

I'm also using facebook for 7 years but now i leave facebook and move on to steemit, hence lots of people like me doing the same. My friends also make accounts on steemit.

Theoretically, they can really prevent the further expansion of Steemit users, but such as we are with you, they definitely will not. We, then, know that it is much steeper here. But new users may not have time to find out.
steemit will always be steemit there is no other alternative and facebook will copy its style after mark zukerberg recent post
