A few months ago i opened a Steemit account based on i love being on anything social network as a means of spreading my wings and reaching out for fame. But Steemit seemed a lot different it pays for blogs and operates under a blockchain, now that's one of a kind. I needed to be on that social network. but the rewards where poor.(as of then) as of then when i opened a Steemit account few months back 1 steem was worth roughly $0.18 and that was poor. but i didnt stop there, I thought about the success story of Bitcoin, how Bitcoin started with a worth of less than a cent but after 8 years is now more than $2500 per coin. If one had invested a $200 worth of Bitcoin at its early stage, he/she will be $75000000+ richer now. But then again 8 years to wait its very very very long!(Disappointed). But lets all remember that then is not now, the world is more a Gobal village than then almost every one owns a smart phone or a laptop with internet and information spreads faster and wider now than then that only is a boost to the digital world. More people now know of the trend now, Digital currencies Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Dashcoin, Steem etc. That can speed up or fastrack the development of any Crypto Currency. Lets talk about people being fascinated about the Blockchain Technology how it can change the world. Both Programmers and Developers are fascinated about its wonders, let alone the Steemit Blockchain Technology a mode of storing value and information that can change the way people see social networks. For me I see Steemit beating social network giants like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
In the past few months the Steem's value has increased by 43.96% in 2months thats a huge growth in 2months, so talking a year we should be expecting over 200% growth. Now that's good for business . We all contributed to the growth of Steem so kudos to us all. But we can do more can't we?
Am booked for a trip to Africa by next week 23rd of June am going to host a seminar there to help spread the Word Steemit!
By the way African need to here about this. Taking an analystics on social website views or users you will find out that majority viewers are from Africa at about 40%, clearly stating that Africans spend most of there time online chatting.
What if i used this opportunity to tell them about a new Social network that they can spend there time on...? You all know the results they will add to the Economic growth of this community many will be enlightened and might decided to invest in Steem which of course is growing Lately. Remember that what adds to the increase is when the demand is high, and i think Africa got lots of good and serious investors who would love to invest in Steem.
