True words @britcoin. I have many early 1850s Gold Rush letters. People do not realize the amount of people that died just trying to make the journey west, through the Sierra Nevada, in hopes of finding a better life. Claim jumping, thieves, frauds, and outright murder to get a small sack of gold. Even modern mining takes much energy, for small amounts.

Wow jb have you done video on the letter would love to here some of those letters, hearing real history, I watch you all the time love your videos, watched you unboxing and going through the coins and looking for the error coins, you have the patience of a saint seeing you work, will comment from now on never new you were on steemit
