Giving Real Value to Content Creators

in #steemit7 years ago

So much to Steem about... so little time...

What I really appreciate about Steemit is how content creation is rewarded.

What are the rewards for people using Facebook, Quora or Twitter other than recognition?

How can one pay his or her rent with "recognition?"

If anyone is interested in helping me develop Facebook Coin, Quora Coin or Twitter Coin, please let me know. (See here for more details: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@jeffkurzon/be-wary-of-icos-introducing-facebook-coin-twitter-coin-quora-coin-law-coin-and-jeff-coin)

My opinion is that the economic model of Facebook, Twitter and Quora, where financial rewards for content creation go only to the shareholders of these corporations, is unsustainable. I believe that the content creators (users) will eventually realize the value of the content they produce and expect to be paid for it.

A cryptocurrency for use by users of these websites would greatly enhance user experience and help create better content.

Steem is better than Facebook on so many levels - because it pays and rewards for content it self manages and promotes quality content rather than selfies and cat videos! I just wrote a blog about how Facebook is a breeding ground for narrcicists come check it out!
