Sadly I must completely agree. It's a shame to have to conclude that steemit inc has contributed so little to the platform. They are the face of the platform yet all we get is announcements. They are lucky to have a system with a reward pool which motivates lot's of other individuals to grow the platform. But without direction chaos and greed start to rule. We have heard about SMTs (we don't need those IMHO) and communities, but that's about it. What about governance on this platform, what about the bots, what about the reward curve, what about this bad user interface and worse code behind it... Do they even care about the future? Do they (want to) work on it? I'm really starting to doubt the intentions.
