To all of you who don't know what EarnCrypto is, It is a free online rewards site that pays you in cryptocurrencies for completing offers, watching ads and data entry tasks. It is a great way to spend your free time while earning some crypto money in return.
Last December, as I was going on board the hype for Bitcoin (like most of you I was skeptical about it at first) so as not to lose real money, I researched on ways to earn it free online. I've tried doing faucets, mining (web), watching videos, and even installing some apps(not recommended) for almost a week until I've discovered EarnCrypto and now SteemIt. XD
What I like about EarnCrypto was it's Data Entry tasks. Simply typing some words and numbers earns you some money. It's not worth that much, but when you're watching some anime or tv series it just kinda stack up and that little money turns to something big without you knowing it. It's a perfect way to spend your free time.
So I did it for over two weeks until I've reached the minimum cash out needed without a transaction fee. (Around $10 at that time). A week passed and still no BTC on my wallet, so I finally messaged their customer support, however I got no reply. So I tried to use Google if anyone else was also experiencing some problems with their withdrawals, a quick google search lead me here in SteemIt.
My interest was piqued the moment I saw those $$$ below the post. I immediately signed up, took over 2 days before I got that coveted confirmation link. During those two days, all I did was research research research all I could find about SteemIt. How it works. What to post. The do's and dont's. etc.
Anyway, that's basically how I discovered SteemIt. Thanks to EarnCrypto and the high transaction bitcoin fees last month, I got to to be in this awesome community. XD
So, how did you discover SteemIt?

Funny thing is I finally got it just yesterday. Over a month late, but better late than never I guess. Earncrypto is a legit site, their only problem is the high btc transaction fees, so they send payments in bulk to resolve this, usually takes weeks.

Hi @jlordc, good post! I am a rather active cryptocurrency trader and investor. So I got to know Steemit through trading. I actually owned some STEEM before I even created the account and started my little Steemit journey.
The more I read and write on Steemit, the more I like this platform. The fact that we have such a big community even though it is still in beta, says how much potential Steemit has. I hope it will continue to grow to become a social networking site that is built by the people and for the people. :)
Probably the best thing that happened to me this year is SteemIt. And with its amazing community it will surely grow, even bigger than Facebook or Reddit :)
