I feel the need to disagree with you very strongly.
IMHO :
I equate selling upvotes with usury.
Further to that I view the sudden proliferation of people offering these services as an infestation of parasites within our community.
However the community will ether go along with it and support it as you do at the moment, or we will find more mutually beneficial solutions. I am certain that latter will be the case.
