That is such a well thought through idea, I'll think on it a bit and get back to you properly. Personally, I don't see any problems with a system like that. The ability to flag accounts for review would definitely get around the current issue we're facing.

Personally, I think KYC is inevitable, or some form of it, but yeah, I'd be happy with that as a compromise myself. Having that information would certainly help, even though IP addresses aren't necessarily identifying information.

Luckily, their votes are worth very little, and there are already bots setup by @anthonyadavisii that will counter the flags. Just keep doing what you're doing, and it's easier said than done, I know, but just try to ignore them.

I absolutely believe in the potential of Steemit, but it doesn't mean there aren't some concerning areas for sure. I've been very lucky in my growth on this platform and I'm so grateful for it. I just don't want to see it fail!
