The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has just become the first Canadian bank to sell bonds with a negative interest rate. Apparently people lined up to buy $1 800 000 000 of an investment that is guaranteed to lose money.

Try to keep sensationalist headlines to a minimum; That's been the entire
basis of 99% of posts on Steemit to increase attraction to that persons post
solely for the potential monetary gains.

The headline is grabbing because I really want people to understand what an amazing financial tool they have at their disposal. The world currently has nothing like Steem Dollars and Steem Power.
I don't agree that purchasing SD/SP is analogous to forex trading though - the post presents both Steem Dollars and Steem Power as investments to be held. Which is true - you have to wait a week to move Steem Dollars and two years to divest Steem Power. Forex is the largest, most active and most liquid market in the world...

I don't understand the ins and outs of the currency and some of the stuff you're talking about yet, but I'll learn. I guess I'm one of those people who are being introduced properly to cryptocurrency via this platform.
