There is street art everywhere these days. Some art is quite good and others are just amazing, pure works of art and the rest well it’s just a mess on the wall but you have to start somewhere. Everyone needs practice.
From the humble tag that started in the 80’s with kids running around under the cover of night in a display of rebellion against the man, parents and the government to now where talented kids are commissioned to make magnificent wall art which has become some of the best works of art ever done.
Melbourne is considered one of the top places for graffiti art and no doubt it has some amazing work but Hobart in Tasmania is full of amazing street art. Some of the worlds best. Some of the most talented artist come from Tasmania. Anyone who has visited the state of Tasmania realise very quickly that it is a place that inspires natural creativity and there are so many talented artists and musicians of all fields. This is what I found.
I did a quick walk around and found some real top quality art work. Sometimes it’s worth walking the back streets instead of the tourist spots.
I hope you enjoy.
Another beauty.
The whole picture. Sorry about the cars.
So many ally’s with treasure art from the past.
And to now.
Another nice piece of wall art.
And there is so much more.
The one below was done by a group of kids aged between 2 and 10 years old. They grabbed cans and did there own thing no input.
Remember to explore there is art everywhere.
Remember to always explore there is so much to discover. In my next blog I will talk about the amazing bush wilderness graffiti art that I have found hidden away under little bridges, old stone walls and cliffs that people would have no idea that they exist.
Always explore.
