So one of the things I like to do with my oldest kid Jonathan...he's almost 16 now...is watch movies. My wife and the younger kids go to bed early and it's become quite the ritual for myself and Jonathan to sit up till 3-4 in the morning soaking in flicks.
It's come to knowledge recently that he's seen very few movies from the 80s.
So I'm posting today to ask my fellow Steemers what you recommend. Give me all the best and worst 80s movies that can't be missed.
I would appreciate if you would each only recommend about 5 movies per reply.
Here's a few of my favorites..
- Earth Girls Are Easy
- National Lampoon's 'ANYTHING' Vacation movies
- Gremlins
- Goonies
- Stand By Me
Lay it on me steemers
Uuuuuhhh...
Dark Crystal
The Never Ending Story
Short Circuit
Transformers: The Movie
... nothing else coming to mind yet.
I feel like most replies will be obvious answers... But it's remembering them when the time calls... Which is why I made the post. Sadly you're the only reply so far.
I saw your comment on the #SteemitCampfire post from Barry. Welcome to the community!
My 80's movies are:
Great picks. Totally agree with Indiana Jones.
I make tee-shirts and just happen to have launched a cool Darth shirt for Father's day or whenever really.. Check it out...

Are the Daringly Digital products all yours?
Yes
I am very clear though that all products do not necessarily represent my personal opinions and beliefs. I make shirts to make money for my family, politics are a hot button currently and many of my products represent that.
Otherwise, yes...Daringly Digital are my designs.
The 80's was the best decade in film there is almost to many to mention but I will give you my 5 rad films
Excellent list
