IMO you should be able to write about whatever you want. I don't like sports so I don't read sports related content but lots of people do and I don't knock them for that. If we want to grow the platform there should be room for everyone and if people want to write and read and discuss sports then, by all means they should be able to do so. My interests are far from popular and I wouldn't want someone telling me they shouldn't be here because they don't like it and I think that should go for everyone. But that's just my opinion and I suppose everyone is entitled to their own.
