The irony isn't lost
Yes I'm aware of the infantile nature of that statement. I'm also aware of the infantile nature of the banking industrie's constant game of Chinese whispers. Trying to drip feed negativity about the crypto market into the general public.
Goldman Sachs latest statement just goes to show the arrogance of these people. Once again assuming they know how this industry works. They don't. They're trying to use their knowledge of a bygone era's financial industry and apply it to something they still don't quite understand. It's almost laughable....almost.
I used to think they were doing this to try and kill the crypto market (and to be fair, they probably were). But I'm now of the mind that they just want to force the market into a low spiral, so they can try to push back time and get on board at a lower price. The annoying thing is, with the hold they have on the general public, they'll probably manage it.
When the wannacry virus hit the UK. The media just couldn't wait to point the blame at bitcoin. Any journalist worth their salt would have done their homework and realised that bitcoin wasn't the issue. Poor IT was the issue.
But they had been told what the story was to be based on.
Thankfully, all they managed to do was give bitcoin and the crypto market some much needed exposure. The price shot up after that, and I think now realise they were wasting their time and needed to get on board.
Power and control my steemians, that's what they're after.
Let's not give it to them.

Game on, the banking industry can't be trusted with our money. They demonstrated it in 2008 and they'll do it again and again. In fact that would be a good article, hmm...
For sure. You write it and I'll upvote it. 😉Thanks for reading and supporting.
