This is like any other blogging platform. You aren't going to get attention right away.
yesterday, i signed up for reddit, and i was really working hard, i have written a long post about my life and how some things inspired me, and i really put a lot of time into it.. but noone seems to like it or see it : (... idk what to do and im writting posts all the time :)
I changed steemit to Reddit for another example, do you think people would care there? Do you think they would shower you with up votes for a story about your life? Do you think anyone cares about what inspires you? Do you think how much time you put into it matters?
The answer to all of those questions is yes and no.
Okay so you are a new user, new bloggers anywhere often take YEARS to see success with their work. Some of them are making excellent blogs but nobody sees it. Its just how things go. On steemit it IS much EASIER then on other blogging platforms, it doesn't take years here.
New users on reddit also get ignored much of the time. Name recognition matters, in life, and in social media. You need to BUILD a brand, it doesn't just get gifted to you.
but noone seems to like it or see it : (
Maybe it wasn't interesting to people. Keep at it. Blogging is not a natural skill, you have to work at it. Steemit is not "easy money."
and i really put alot of time into it
This is necessary, but really nobody cares how hard you worked on a post. When I first started I spent a lot of time with many of my posts and got nothing for them as well. But I kept working and working and working and eventually people started to take notice. It took MONTHS. Keep in mind the community was even smaller then, so it was much easier to get noticed, now its even harder, and as the community continues to grow it will keep getting harder. So work at building a brand now and you will be way way way ahead of people who are signing up even 6 months from now.
The moral of the story is, you are new, if you want success you have to work at it. It may take a long time, or it may never come. It all depends on whether people are interested in the content you are creating.
Good luck! Keep trying! I'm sure you will do okay!
Hey buddy my number is 26 but a friend of mine started with 36 even he register a month later than me. Do you think the username itself have affect on it!!
Hahaha are ya magician, you are great ,btw i like to share my desert trips here only do you think its a good idea,i mean all realted to desert and life survival techniques or i should be more open and share all other interesting topic that i have?
Its gonna take time man. Work hard, talk to people like you are to me here. Get known by the people who are posting about the things you are interested in. That will help you build your brand.
Well, thanks

No, username has no effect. The votes you receive do. I can raise yours by voting for you.
See, now you went from 26 to 34
