After analytica scandal and popularity of blockchain may be facebook have no option left. For their survival they would love to join blockchain technology. Otherwise their survival will be in danger. In my 2 cent opinions steemit will remain beneficial either Facebook convert into blockchain or not. it FB don't it will be history. It FB transfer in to Blockchain, it will increase the popularity of blockchain. With the popularity of blockchain Steem will get handsome benefit. Thanks for sharing @stephenkendal
