It makes me feel good. I feel like I have actual power to decide what types of articles will thrive in this beautiful community. I feel like I am helping good writers write, helping them focus more on writing and less on distractions. Like a truly free and power distributed platform that rewards people by the people.

Well put. I like how you say that Steemit is one of the first to value the human element. I never thought about it much, but the other crypto currencies tend to focus on avoiding the human factor as a main goal. It is almost like Steemit is taking a step back and actually trying to figure out how a blockchain can provide value to human interaction rather than just implementing a system that replaces the middle man.
Exactly. They definitely thought this out well especially from a social point of view. For this to be interactive and successful, they have to give people power, they have to pay people and they have to have careful checks and balances. I really have to applaud them on their development. I love steemit. I love it more than facebook.
