I started to lose my patience with some people. It's hard to learn an old dog, new trick... I still try it tho...
I think all of us have at least one "that" friend, who "thinks" that Steemit.com is a fraud or that you are not telling the truth about it and all sorts of other dark thoughts.
Or we meet new people and they try to maybe put this thing down in a more "fancy" way... Like "Youtuber make a lot of money", I am like "dude, half of the YouTubers are deported to @steemitland".
I will try to make some useful tips, on how to quickly make them understand the whole thing more "clearly". And kinda get the picture more, from the very start. Will not do the @steemit history review!
But why?
Well, few things I think might be the problem.
"NEW" People have very little knowledge about cryptocurrencies in general. Maybe even heard about it the first time they heard about @steemit.
They just can't believe that its possible to make a buck in this fashion of work. To make a lot? NO WAY!
Who gives you that money? Where did they get that money?
Maybe it's a "Ponzi" scam.
This 4 are the most common ones I get about Steemit. More are coming after they sign up, btw check my blog and check the #steemit-help topic...
I will answer this questions in my "caveman" style since I'm also kinda new to crypto-world. PLEASE DO CORRECT ME!
Cryptocurrencie
Digital money
I will not go full "Steem" :) on them with it... I try to get out some things from them first...
Like do you maybe know whats a Paysafecard is? That is one form of digital money. But the deal with it is. Paysafe is only worth the amount of $/β¬ you buy it for, and you use it as you would use "$/β¬" in the digital world of internet.
Same with crypto, JUST that there are many digital forms out there. Some are worth more than others. "I stop here!"
Usually, they reply, how do you get it?
Well, I do not talk about mining and stuff, something only a person with huge computer knowledge would understand the first time, AND THEY ARE ALL ALREADY Hooked ON CRYPTO. Right?
I just try to tell them, YOU BUY IT! Like you would buy Paysafe. You get coins for it, you get your own wallet. And at first, just buy some Bitcoin and see how it goes for a few weeks or so, just leave it as you would leave money in your savings account. (Btw, one guy did buy 1BTC at 890$ last year, and it made a cool jump weeks after it... Insta HOOKEDπ
Back then I did not know about @steemit yet, poor puppy...
Anyways, my point is I try to make it simple. I give them the "SECURE line", do not worry if you wanna you can sell them for money in 1 minute or less.
THAT CALMS DOWN A NEW POTENTIAL CRYPTO MEMBER
You should tell them it's a stock market like any other out there... No need to start talking about all the 800+ coins, just tell them a few "juicy" parts.
Everybody loves a good BITCOIN story
Yes, we do!
Every person will be stunned if you tell them on what a road BTC was in the last years. People made millions and millions on it.
*Some of them without even knowing it!
A cool "A guy made millions forgetting about 30$ of BTC in 2010 or so" story will do just fine. They can google it in sec.

MUST KNOW
People are very careful when it comes to money(The smart ones:), and will take to many "kind/You will make money" info as a RED FLAG!
Just throw the hook in, and wait
You talk about Steemit.com after it.
I just go "F" Facebook, if you are creative and also appreciate other one's creativity Steemit.com is the place for you.
The future of social network!
You post cool things, people WILL like it and you WILL get paid for it. Very simple idea. Maybe it will get a bit more complicated in the @steemitwallet, but if you followed me, I did talk about it before. :)
Back to the "story"...
I am sure anybody will give it a try, at least that thought will be stuck in their mind... "What if..."
They just can't believe that its possible
Well it is...
Some folks here make a lot... They also work hard, of course, are longtime members of the community and maybe one day you could be as well, but one step at the time.
Some say "that is only "play" money", like @pokerstars". LMAOπ
A quick wallet check of a Whale or anybody in that matter will shut down that "stupid" idea!
Yeah, some just want you to beg them for mercy..."Ha Ha" People are not stupid tho, it's just too much to handle if one is a "noob". I would know 4 sure.
Steemit will take you into to deep waters, a storm will come and you will not have much sleep mine while. So many new things come out every single day and you just have to put your time into it I guess.
Take it as school, do good in school and dad is gonna buy you something. JUST IN OUR CASE, you are your own daddy and mommy. Get good grades and make good progress and other will respect you for it. @steemit is not a playground for bullies, there are some but that is not a place to stick my nose in.π
"Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations."
MONEY, how and "who"?
Ah, this one is a hard one for me...
I have my own style of expressing myself, some may get that by now. I did tell Yall I'm a caveman.
Let's do it!
A pro-term for a blockchain is:
"A distributed database that is used to maintain a continuously growing list of records, called blocks. Each block contains a timestamp and a link to a previous block. A blockchain is typically managed by a peer-to-peer network collectively adhering to a protocol for validating new blocks. By design, block chains are inherently resistant to modification of the data. Once recorded, the data in any given block cannot be altered retroactively without the alteration of all subsequent blocks and a collision of the network majority.
Functionally, a blockchain can serve as "an open, distributed ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way. The ledger itself can also be programmed to trigger transactions automatically."
Blockchains are secure by design and are an example of a distributed computing system with high Byzantine fault tolerance. Decentralized consensus has therefore been achieved with a blockchain. This makes block chains potentially suitable for the recording of events, medical records, and other records management activities, such as identity management, transaction processing, and documenting provenance.
The first blockchain was conceptualized by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 and implemented the following year as a core component of the digital currency bitcoin, where it serves as the public ledger for all transactions. The invention of the blockchain for Bitcoin made it the first digital currency to solve the double spending problem, without the use of a trusted authority or central server."

@cheetah... I love cats...
Anyway, if I wanna try to talk this "magic", I would just get a lot of WTF looks from people.
I do it my own way, silly way... But who does not love God?β€
I go something like that. Imagine blockchain is a God, and he got so many things going on, to secure the damn thing and to keep it rolling needs us ("miners") to help him do the job.
He is very kind, as he is very rich with info and also has a lot of money to "give away". The reward for all the tasks we do are coins, money, dinero, chi-ching, ι±, ι’ and my personal favorite is STEEM/SBD you get it on Steemit.com. BOOOOOM!
They go "Ha Ha", I go "Ha Ha" and it's all good, welcome on board "Mahh Man(Denzel Washington voice:)"!
Again I try to keep it simple, all the other stuff will come to them in a few days any ways.
YOU HAVE TO MAKE THEM DO THEIR RESEARCH.
NOTHING IN LIFE IS "FREE"
Maybe it's a "Ponzi" scam
I would like you to share this post with anybody that gives you "shit" about it. I hope I did kinda resolve a thing or two. Nothing major I know, but any new cool author is always welcome here!
Hope it makes them at least think about it easier... Even if I missed some points, I let them know, NO TROLL BISπ²! And you should also give some info in the comments section and I will be more than happy to update the post if needed.
If they still think it's a "Ponzi" after reading it. Gosh, there is no hope for them. We need smarter people than that around..."Ha Ha"π
This post was inspired by my friend Kristjan. Smart dude, but he just can not get it in his head... I hope you will now... WE ARE...
Until next time take this thank you for upvoting or resteeming! Much love, be safe and bye!π
You will get so flagged!
HAHA
"DON NOT RECCOMEND STEEMIT TO YOUR FRIENDS? WTF !=!=!=!=!)!)!)!)"
Are you for real tho?
I think you need to do more research ;)
Cheers!

Didn't read the whole post, but I got two good sayings about that problem:
βMindless fear is greater than mindful fear.β
β Idowu Koyenikan
βThe oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknownβ
β H.P. Lovecraft
Too much fear at on place.... :)

They flag it as a scam because other people want to get more money it easiest way and not understanding of what a flatform is.
True... Mostly ppl wanna make $ gzillions first, everthing else later... LOL
Building a money maker is not that easy for peoples with that kind mindset. Thay only killing their opportunity
Sometimes it feels like a scam because it's too good to be true :D
Yes maybe some get that feeling...
BUT SOME MADE MILLIONS HERE!
upvoted nice post @kid4life
Excellent guide kid! Only thing is, if these people are still screaming scam..scam, would it not be best to just ignore them. No one is forcing anyone to participate.
These poor souls are probably happier with the true Zuckerpunch rip-off!
