In the last few hours, the media has reported that the social networking site Facebook officially acquired a company that specializes in verifying official identities on the Internet, and Facebook, according to experts behind the move, aims to secure user accounts on its platform.
"Confirm", established in 2015 in Boston, is an emerging company that specializes in verifying official identities on the Internet such as identity card, driver's license or passport, and has developed a technology for this purpose.
