in #steemit6 years ago

So we got down for loads of hours due to HF20. Im not even sure if this post will go live but lets see what this downtime had impact.

If you are from Korea or have an account there.. free money are here for you.

SBD Markets

Prirce pretty much same everywhere. I think we need more exchanges with SBD vs what USDT does.

Technology has it ups and downs.
Today was the down.
Just launch the HF20.
Will make no difference for the average JOE.
Keep on postin'

Its back now. However, I could not find any major change here after HF20. What do you think?

HF20 is scheduled for release Sept 25!

If I understand correctly, we're not on HF-20 right? From what I had heard, some witnesses updated their nodes but won't going to launch until the scheduled date. However, apparently the majority updated, and a bug had caused the blockchain to get... confused, and we sorta 'soft-forked' for a bit.

But I think we're currently back on 19.2 [ or whatever it was before this hiccup ], but I could be wrong about all this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ohh...thanks for clarification. Downtime in steem was bit confusing

Seriously did HF20 have anything good in it for a full day of downtime lol NOPE

seems to have bounced back nicely!

It back up :)

yay!

Thank U master🏛🏛

buy steem as it will rock again.... yes i will soon 1200 sato.... so hurry up

I think we need more exchanges with SBD vs what USDT does.

Top-20 Crypto Exchange Is Replacing Tether With a Rival Stablecoin:

Digifinex has decided to replace tether (USDT), perhaps the best-known "stablecoin" designed to maintain a steady exchange rate with the U.S. dollar, with a rival, TrustToken's TrueUSD. Based in Singapore, Digifinex handled $131 million in trading volume over the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap, making it the 16th-largest exchange by that measure.

Finally back to posting

Good to be back.

lol sumbuddie above said we got "soft-forked" - makes it so much more paletable / hate it when that happens!

coinpayments is able to exchange sbd at least for other cryptos. Bit of a pain in the royal backside but it can be done. Part of the problem I have with steemit is that it's so difficult to invest into. If I want to buy steem with money, I have to first invest in another cryptocurrency first and then exchange it. I would've thought creating an account on blocktrades would've allowed me to just buy but nope.

Also not looking forward to what comes about with my voting power after HF20. Makes my vote worthless.

It was probably the best possible timing to do maintenance, because the ones that are using the platform now, are the ones who truly believe in it, so no one will lose their cool.
