Sometimes I Wonder What @Ned is Up To...

While a polarizing subject amongst the Hive community.. The Former Steemit Inc CEO Ned Scott was always kind to me. While some blame him for the whole Sun Yuchen / Justin Sun debacle at the end of the day Ned was the first CEO I met that showed me respect, shared my art and ultimately converted me from a trollish bastard to a STEEM thrall back in the day. I don't blame him and given how much the STEEM community tended to thrash the guy, I think in his position almost all of us would have done the same.

No idea if you still read your notifications or whatever on here @ned ... But if you do, know that some of the OG STEEM guys (or me atleast) still sometimes wonder what you're doing and hope whatever you found yourself doing post STEEM was something fulfilling and in alignment with what your ultimate life goal is. Life is full of chapters and stepping stones, STEEM for a lot of us was / still is a massive part of our life and countless hours spent writing articles, coding things and utilizing the chain to do cool shit other blockchains at the time simply weren't set up to do.. Neat times.

Thanks for being an ally and supporter of my golden years on the STEEM blockchain. While originally I was PISSED about the whole Steemit Inc stake sale and whatnot, now I can look back upon the actions taken and come to the conclusion that you didn't act out of malice, but rather in a way in which almost all individuals on this planet would have.

Having a person that wielded such power and bootstrapped our community initially, appearing on network news and whatnot not only follow me but actively help and support me was WILD.. Sort of feels like a lifetime ago at this point, and may not hold much prestige or sway these days.. but at the end of the day that dude saw my potential and helped me believe in myself.. As silly as that sounds.

Maybe Ned still reads his mentions on here.. I don't know. Let's say he does read this, post your comments or laments or whatever directed towards our former leader Ned Scott in the comments.

All of my posts in 2025 will be set to be paid out as 100% Hive small-hive-brands-solid.png Power, Thank you for the comments, votes and support. <3

He did have some crazy ideas about what STEEM was supposed to be.. I think we were all a bit niave to some extent.

Awell, onwards and upwards. Thanks for the comment. :)

Naif is the right word indeed :) but I am still thankful that I was able to be one of those who did well and I did learn a lot about this crazy world of blockchain and blogging. I also remember you !!!

It was good to see a comment from a friendly face. I also remember you. :)

STEEM era if nothing else got a lot of people into blockchain technology that otherwise would have never been exposed or took up using the technology later.

He was a good dude when I met him, but I was kinda miffed he sold STEEM. I always wondered where we'd be if Sun actually did something good with it and we embraced the change.

Yeah.. In an alternate timeline where the top brass didn't pull a power move which ultimately lead to the Justin Sun / Chinese Exchange collusion takeover attack perhaps things would have been less traumatic.

But alas, The people with the stake and power don't really care to act in a means that ensures the "greater good".

Hope you good Witty. Cheers.

He is still working on smart media tokens. Expected to launch any day now.

... LMAO

Almost made me shoot coffee out my nose. +1
