RE: Will Steemit become a threat to minimum wage jobs?

in #steemit8 years ago

Thank you very much for your input. The reason why I wrote about the US is because it's where I currently live so I felt like it was relevant. In Crimea where I am from there's no minimum hourly wage, but there's a minimum salary, if you do happen to have that job you don't do 10 more tasks that fall into a different job title description, you do strictly what you got to, maybe it was one of the reasons why I think it isn't fair to pay someone a minimum wage while have them do the job of a few more people.
I did indeed only have that one job here, it was within walking distance from my home and I thought it was perfect for someone who doesn't drive, I wish I had more experience working in the states, but I don't.
I agree that word "threat" is strong, I couldn't think of a better synonym at the time.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me, there's still a lot to think about and I'm still learning!

I welcome your open-mindedness. I didn't realize our geographical separation. Well, despite our differences, I think we're both learning about market in our own ways and Steemit can be the unifier for sure!

Thank you! I don't really know a whole lot about markets and how things really work in the US because I've only been here for a little over 2 years, but I am trying my best!
Followed you back and nice to meet you! :)

LIkewise, see you around the Steemits ... hey, the cool thing about this crypto party is that we're all getting smarter and more useful to anyone that would want to hire us in the future. crypto will be a booming job market by 2020 is my prediction :)

That's true, unless we get so rich investing and creating awesome content that we're not gonna need a job! Hopefully!

Could be...
