Today I would like to talk about how to quickly raise your account in our favorite social network Steemit, and at the same time make good money.
First let's talk about payments for authors:
The authors receive remuneration after the votes received from the curators, the curator’s steem power influences the cost of paying from the post, of course, the more steem power the stronger the curator’s voice will affect the cost of paying from this post.
In order for participants with a large steem power to vote for your content, you need to write interesting content that will interest experienced participants of the site, and it is advisable to put your content in the top in popularity.
Now let's talk about the uniqueness of payments to curators and authors from posts, the author has the right to choose one of 3 payment methods when writing a post:
gif source : https://steemit.com/toolkit/@sndbox/how-payouts-work-on-steemit-a-visual-guide
-50% -50% This means that the author will receive half of the reward in coins of steem power and half in coins of steem dollars (SBD)
-100% This means that the author will receive a reward in full in coins steem power
- Refuse to pay is an option for those who do not want to receive remuneration from the post, you will not receive a reward.
I believe that the most profitable way is considered to be 50% -50% since we get 50% in steem dollars (SBD) coins which we can use as soon as we receive a reward after 7 days from the moment of writing the post.
-For example, my post for 7 days my post was estimated at $ 15.53 I get a reward in the size of 5.900 SBD and 7.450 STEEM POWER ~ $ 11.80
The curators of this post get $ 3.73
It follows that I am entitled to $ 11.80 and I am divided this amount in half,
5.9 $ SBD + 5.9 $ STEEM POWER Since the coin rates are different, it follows that the number of coins is also different.
Now about how to earn max from each post.
As you noticed, I received $ 11.80, and the curators received $ 3.73
The fact is that curators also receive rewards in the size of 25%, therefore, the author receives 75%
But there is a feature about which few people know, there is a possibility that the curator would receive not 25%, but less
Everything is divided as follows:
The full payment of 25% to the curator goes only when the curator has voted for the post after 15 minutes since the appearance of the post.
***Up
curation rewards changed on Steemit with HF20. The reverse auction period is now just 15 minutes and the author-curation rewards now go back into the general reward pool and not to the author. The author can still gain some curation rewards from his own upvote after 15 minutes.
You will see the detailed reverse auction formula in the next section.
I think the topic will be useful for authors and those who use the promotion of posts (boost), but more on that later ...
Misleading
Removing completely the wrong misleading lines, and writing actual information in its place would make a lot more sence to me, compared to adding small updated note to an outdated data (like i see it now)
done =)
Nice explanation, but... curation rewards changed on Steemit with HF20. The reverse auction period is now just 15 minutes and the author-curation rewards now go back into the general reward pool and not to the author. The author can still gain some curation rewards from his own upvote after 15 minutes.
Most of it is OK, you may wish to edit the last parts.
Very little is written in the official manual, thanks for the amendment, could you give a source HF20
You can have a browse through here: https://steemit.com/created/hf20
The best articles seem to have dropped off the list - just checking for you...
The official details are here: https://github.com/steemit/steem/releases
scroll down to Reward Changes.
Thank
thanks for the info. but what about people who's post go unoticed? They only way they can earn anything is with curation rewards.
The steemit service is still at an early stage, but this is great for those who write their original content, it needs to be placed wherever it is possible for the audience to grow, but if you want your steemit articles not to be ignored, now it's better to use content promotion, by method boost...
I'll write about it later, it's just
I'd like to learn about this boost thing. I am so fed up with my hard work getting ignored.
I will answer your questions, give advice ...
