We all want upvotes.
The polite thing to do on Steemit is to upvote a post that you comment on. If it's worth commenting, it's worth upvoting.
It's easy to keep up with who has commented, too.
And if it's a sincere comment, and they have upvoted your post, it's polite to upvote the comment. The menu that drops down when you click on your picture has an option that says REPLIES. That's where you check to see who has left you comments.
Asking for an upvote in someone's comments is considered spamming. Resist the urge.
resteeming is free
if you use the little circle arrow at the bottom of the post in the left of the right hand section. Everyone likes to be resteemed.
That's it. Go feed the plankton and find some quality followers that know when to upvote!
That's something that I haven't really done much of is upvoting comments - so I need to do more of that. There's so much to learn!!!
I learned a thing or two!
Thanks!
It didn't occur to me to think of it that way, that if it's worth a comment, it's worth an upvote. I would think this doesn't always apply, but is good to keep in mind.
I also didn't know how/where to check replies! Good to know!
Good advice. But there are also people who say “follow me and upvote and I’ll do the same” and then never actually do. Humanity...
They are called spammers anyone who begs for a vote and a follow in comments is a spammer. Ignore them or explain how it works to them.
Yes. And there seem to be a lot of them around here.
But I’m learning the ropes. Thanks again.
