Richards said that to obtain a permit required lengthy negotiations with a number of federal agencies, including NASA, FAA, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Federal Communications Commission and the US Department of Defense and Department of State. The whole process of approval of "lunar mission» Moon Express took about a year.

Now Moon Express can fully concentrate on the financial and technological issues of the moon mission, which will begin with the launch of the lander MX-1 on board the rocket Rocket Lab Electron. Moon Express signed with Rocket Lab agreement on a number of launches payload using its rockets.

If the mission can be completed before December 31, 2017, the Moon Express will be able to carry out their plans to get the first prize of the competition Google Lunar X PRIZE of $ 20 million. According to its terms, the applicant must establish a lunar rover that will land gently on the surface of the moon, will pass not by it less than 500 m and send to Earth pictures and other data.

So the hubble space telescope cant take pictures of the moon or the earth? i doubt whether this will get off the ground, well maybe a bit for about 30 seconds.

Why are people voting this up when theres clearly repeated copy pasted sections and no source link?

Im sorry if this is legit written by you, but i kinda doubt it tbh

This is scary and cool at the same time :D
Wouldn´t it be super freaky to see the world from up there? Probably in a 100 years from now it will be quiet common. If the earth still exists then :P

What an exciting time! Sooner or later, we will be building that moon colony!

Wow, this could be a whole new realm of life. Imagine corporate America taking over casual space travel and beyond.

Some people believe man has walked on the moon because they saw it on TV. Space travel is a religious belief supported by fake cgi images and video. China already claimed to have landed on the moon. Google it you'll see it was a cartoon. Put the phrase "scientists have discovered" and the majority will believe it.
