Hi everyone I am new here just posting some of the technology I like to experiment with on my free time as a hobby if you would like to learn more about me you can also check out my personal website at https://www.lewisrashe.com anyways the technology I am posting about for my first post is about the TESSEL 2 which is a rapid prototyping platform for Internet of Things devices that uses Node.js which famous for its use as server side JavaScript and has the package ecosystem, npm, which is the largest ecosystem of open source libraries in the world.
Anyways I recently purchased a TESSEL 2 to use Node.js and npm packages to experiment with potential Internet of Things (IoT) applications. One of those applications that I decided to use it for was to build a Node Recon Bot, I loaded up the program and now I can drive it around it also features a web cam so I get a live webcam data feed from the device as well. It can be controlled from my laptop or smartphone. Below you will see some pictures of the IoT device I built plus some videos.
