Hey I really enjoyed reading your post more than likely as I can relate to your words. It’s obvious that the number one reason why folks joined Steemit is for the money and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, after all in most cases the majority of the members are already blogging on other platforms and see Steemit as just another avenue to showcase their work with the added extra of getting rewards on their posts. But I do believe that as money is involved it almost puts a barrier and a sort of mental block on how we try to portray ourselves in our posts, not all of course , as you said trying to relax and just enjoy this new adventure without having that conscious of the money factor makes it a little harder but is probably the right the key to building a successful showcase…

I like the way you said that @lobbylux. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being rewarded for good content, in fact I encourage it. Give out as many upvotes as you can to help others reach a level of success. I think the point of my article is that you should like what you are doing on steemit, rather than trying to conceive methods of gaming the rewards pool.
If you create quality, original content that you believe in, the likelihood of your message being seen by others, goes up over time.
