3. Sharing editing rights:

How to Share Editor Rights on Steemit.

Lost password: It is important to note that password security is paramount as Steemit doesn’t recover lost passwords, once a password is lost or compromised, there’s nothing Steemit can do about it.

Posting key: Sharing editor rights on Steemit is quite easy, all a user needs to post and edit articles for a business/user account is to have the username and a posting key. Posting keys are used for voting and posting on Steemit, they are different from the active and owner keys. The posting key is what should be given to team members or editors.

4. Editing Posts using markdowns on Steemit:

Editing posts on Steemit is a little different from other blogging platforms. Steemit uses Markdowns which is a little different from what most users and businesses are used to. Markdown is a way to style text on the web, it is lightweight and has a quite easy to use syntax that can be used to style various forms of writing on Steemit.

Markdown is simply regular text with an addition of a few non alphabetic characters used in styling like (#) or (*).

Here’s a list of hacks you can use for editing on Steemit.

Headers:

Adding the (#) with a space in the beginning of a word or sentence changes the text to a header.

#H1.

##H2.

###H3.

####H4.

#####H5.

######H6.

Result:

H1.

H2.

H3.

H4.

H5.
H6.

Emphasis:

Adding the (*) or the (_) at the beginning and end of a text changes the text to either Italics or bold.

  • This text will be italic. *

_ This will also be italic. _

** This text will be bold. **

__ This will also be bold. __

Result:

This text will be italic.

This will also be italic.

This text will be bold.

This will also be bold.

Lists.

To create lists we can use numbers, (*), (-), (+);

First ordered list item.
Another item.
⋅⋅* Unordered sub-list.

Actual numbers don’t matter, just that it’s a number.
⋅⋅1. Ordered sub-list.

And another item.

  • Unordered list can use asterisks.

– Or minuses.

  • Or pluses.

Links.

This are the ways to create links on markdown.

Note: The link must start with https:// not www without which it wouldn’t work.

[I’m an inline-style link] (https://www.love4aviation.blog)

[I’m an inline-style link with title] (https://www.love4aviation.blog “Love4aviation’s Homepage”)

Result.

I’m an inline-style link.

I’m an inline-style link with title.
