Enjoying steemit, no pressure

in #steemit7 years ago

Today I want to talk about how we can enjoy steemit. Often times I see people post lifeless content that just tries to earn some upvotes and on to the next one. They feel as though posting quality content isn't rewarded. In my opinion that is the wrong approach to this great social media we all love.

What I learned from steemit

Learn to post without pressure.

Not every post has to be perfect. Learn to write about everyday stuff. People often think they have nothing interesting to share with the community, but would be surprised at how unique we all are and how are everyday lives are different. Every person on steemit has a different perspective on life and through sharing we learn to keep an open mind.

Stop counting the money

Seriously, steemit is a community, not a business. I value new people I meet and every time I meet an interesting new person, be it on steemit or in real life, I feel as though I gained something. Here on steemit, engaging with the community is vital, so as to not get lost in the thousands of spam accounts. There are a lot of very smart and interesting people here on steemit and keep in touch with every one of them you meet. I'm always commentating and discussing various topics with a lot of people, you never know who you can meet.

Anyway, that's just me ranting a bit, as I felt the need to write. Comment on this post with any feedback you may have.

I have the same sentiment regarding contents. It's as if what's written is not that necessary to be taken into account. It would be very great if Steemit contains posts that are great whether it be about everyday stuff or particular topics such as science or math.

Yeah, but on steemit there is no middle ground. People seem to either post great quality content about specific topics, or bad meaningless posts. However, community projects are helping out and I feel they can help make steemit better. I will try to do a post about community projects next.

That's a really great start! I'm looking forward to it and I hope we can make steemit a better platform for people who share great contents. (And for others to follow the lead as well.)

Hi Ludji. Good to see you full of energy and pushing forward. All it takes is a little push and you will see the bigger picture. I am happy you back up writing and posting again. Just keep going you are not on your own.

Thanks man, I regained some faith in steemit, I believe we can make it great.
