I read some of your recent posts. Good stuff! You have a new follower.

Thanks @ew-and-patterns, great to hear! I have a new post coming in a few hours, great that you like my work :)

Thank you!

This is encouraging and really exciting :) I'm sending your series to a few friends of mine that I am attempting to lure onto the platform, fingers crossed!

This is again a great post. Keep it going mate!

Great post, just one little type to correct - The Statistics and not The Statitistics sub title.

Cheers Andrew, oops! I just corrected it.

You're welcome, mate! Keep writing good posts like this.

How did do you do it to get to this level @lukebrn?

A lot of hard work, good content creation and interacting with others. Follow along with this series if you want to know in detail - I'll be explaining how I have done so in a different post each day!

This post has received a 5.35 % upvote from @booster thanks to: @lukebrn, @lukebrn.

Glad I found you. I started about three weeks ago as well. Love your analysis. It is very encouraging and motivating. Cannot wait to see how you take this series. Good job.

Great to hear, thank you! How are you getting on so far? I'll try and make it as helpful as possible, thanks again.

I have really enjoyed it. It takes a lot of work but it has been a blast so far. Have met some amazing people. Looking forward to what the future has in store

Great to hear, keep it up!

I would love to get advice from you. That is quite an accomplishment to get to 1,000.00 with no investment. Upvoted!

excellent post and i couldnt agree with you more. also if you consider the Weiss latest ranking ( check my latest posts of today) steem is among the top 5 coins that made it to B which is the current highest ratings even ahead of btc, dash ltc etc. this is why i posted last week why i love steemit and steemians. we always share valuable infos. keep it up. upped

Thank you! I read the Weiss ratings, it was an interesting choice they had, but I agreed with their STEEM evaluation for sure. Checked out your post there and gave you an upvote, thanks for commenting!

Welcome as always and let's keep steeming hot together 👌

For sure!

Nice idea for a series. You’re definitely killing it lately on the platform :)

I know you say that you haven’t invested any of your own money into the platform, but can I ask if you’re so bullish, why not?

Thanks @forexbrokr! I have mentioned before that I think the platform has an excellent future, as I did in this post. I am trying to create a diverse portfolio and I am looking to invest in cryptocurrencies that are 1) Solving a problem that I am passionate about, 2) likely to grow and 3) likely to survive a crash in the market (I like cryptocurrencies with real world use cases!). The fact that I can earn Steemit through investing time means that I can invest my money in to other cryptocurrencies - to me it makes sense to invest in say LTC over STEEM, as if I invest in STEEM (with FIAT), I won't be able to earn any LTC, but if I invest in LTC (with FIAT), I can earn STEEM (with time). It may not be the best strategy, but it's what I've been doing so far.

I may change that in the future, but for now I'm going to keep it that way! I'm also looking at doing an online course about Steemit to get more people to the platform, it could be quite interesting. Will need to partner with people to do so though!

If anyone needs any motivation, check this out:

Metclafe's Law? Where did I come across that before? LOL

I just read some stats this morning...for the 4 weeks in January, there were over 120K sign up...that will be another 1.2 M user accounts by the end of the year (if nothing changes). This of course, is an absurd number on the low side. As noted, the pace of sign ups is increasing.

Therefore, we could see 5M users by year end. Once auto sign ups are instilled, there will be a boom in the user base.

Overall, $1 of STEEM today will be worth at least 3 times that in the near future (like 90 days if I had to guess). We are in a lull in the crypto market at this time...that will change.

I expect February to see many of the crypto charts to break out to the upside.

I completely agree, thanks for sharing that infographic! Metcalfe's law has come up on a few Steemit posts, so it might be from a post you have seen before. The numbers are growing exponentially, even if we somehow fall in to linear growth, it still puts the platform in a great position. Thanks for the comment, make sure to follow along if you're interested in the series, every upvote helps to share the post with more people!

Better an over ambitous goal, then no goal at all.
If this series will be as good as the passive income series, you will easily get there!
Aren’t you affraid that some of your earlier followers will unfollow you, due to the complete different content?

Exactly! No I'm not worried, I'm only taking a week to cover some Steemit success stuff, then I will be back to cryptocurrencies - I don't think they will mind if I try and help the community for one week!

Usage of Steemit will only go up bigly as soon as the masses realize the power of Steem 🔥 We have great times ahead and it is so cool to be part of it as an early adopter with all the ups and downs of course 😊

I completely agree with you there! Thanks for the comment!

Well written @lukebrn! One thing for readers to note is that 'STEEM Blockchain is very likely to do great in the future, but early adopters can only do great if we start doing the right things now'.

Remember people, powering up is a huge investment opportunity for early adopters to leverage on future opportunities when the value of STEEM rises. Would you rather cash out $6/STEEM today or reinvest it into SP to earn more SBD/upvote, then cash out $100/STEEM in the next few years?

Thanks Aaron! Yes I agree, that is a great point to add. I'd rather reinvest in SP for sure, but I do understand that some people may need the money now, which is fine by me!

Yup, it all depends on context @lukebrn

Great post, thanks for sharing!

Good advice and effort for the steem member

With the number of users going up. We also have the responsibility of posting the best of content. If content is the king here then we really need to be good with what we are posting. My initial months were quite like a loser and even now getting the right audience sometimes becomes a task.

Great post as for the 5000 Sp goal, well I will let this quote say it:

"goals so big you get uncomfortable telling small minded people"

I think you can achieve it as long as you keep going.

That is a great quote! Thanks for the comment. Are you on Discord? I would love to talk more.

I am not on Discord, I think i should be there soon and will sure add you and chat.

So as for the new users that are currently pouring into Steemit you do have to calculate the number of Fake accounts (People who are just here to get an extra one cent upvote due to @steemit delegation) at least in an Approx.

And is very true when you said this

If you feel that you are lacking motivation, just think about Facebook – imagine having the opportunity to invest in that before it became adopted en-mass.

As you never know which Stock is going to go up and burst through the Stratosphere. So I think its good to invest in Steemit.

As the only investment, you need to grow on Steemit is your own valuable Time.

I hope I left a good Comment.

Hehe

I agree with this one. Thanks for sharing your perspective. I'll be sure to follow you for future insights on steemit and how we can all grow together!
