RE: The Bank Of Knowledge. [✔Everything You Need To Know To Succeed On Steemit!][✔Revamped 2016-2018 Edition.]

Well here you are: Student in your real life and teacher in your online life :)

This post is actually so full of worthwhile tips. I especially like your focus on consistency, the importance of commenting and developing relationships/followers, and the idea that this all takes a lot of hard work. Steemit is certainly not a get rich quick scheme...diligence, perseverance, caring, and time all factor into someone's success here.

I really appreciate someone like yourself, who has been here for some time, going back to the basics, and offering a post to help so many just starting out. I think many people come here thinking that it's going to be so easy and focus on their posts and the trending page, and that's about it. This is a wonderful reminder or lesson that it's about so much more; and this, in my opinion, is what this platform is all about!

Hey @lynncoyle1, thank you. :)
Yeah, I figured it would be easier for myself to put basically everything in one single post and refer people to this post whenever I get some of the most common questions.

Many or most of the questions I get on Discord for instance, is about how to make money on Steemit.

What people should do, how they should do it and what I believe is the best thing for them to do.

Hopefully, with this article, I might be able to help most of these people by simply linking them to this article instead of spending anything between 10-30 minutes answering all of these questions.

Also, I hope this article will function as some sort of springboard for newcomers so they'll learn the basics so to speak, before they dive in with full strength.

Hey @hitmeasap!

Yes it would save you time for sure when you're answering the same question over and over again. And it's a good idea to use it as a "springboard"; Have you added it to the "knowledge_bank" in Discord? Because I've been adding members to @asapers, and I can direct them there if you do.

Hope school is going well for you. You're probably crazy busy with everything :)

Nope. It seems like I don't have the rights to add things in there. I asked @shai-hulud and/or @insideoutlet to add it though. :)

Yeah, it's been a crazy ride, but I like it. It's really cool so far and I think I'm doing pretty good. :D

Hey @hitmeasap & @lynncoyle1, It was locked down as it was set up for @shai-hulud's knowledge bank series. That is a continuous WIP based as the newest of steemians focusing on one topic at a time.

We have added this post now so you can direct people to it. Know there is already three things in there to get every steemian started and @shai would like to continue on the inital path for the series.

Ok thanks @insideoutlet. Is there a different/better spot for @hitmeasap's post, especially if @shai-hulud has a grand plan for "knowledge_bank"?

I just re-read that and it sounded sarcastic to me :) So...

Haha, nah have stuck it in there for now. I love your disclaimer. I think i need one of those too lol.

So glad you enjoyed it :) The joys of miscommunication when you're not face to face with people!

hahaha they want to make sure you're not dumping all kinds of stuff in there ;)

I'm so glad you're enjoying it all. I always thought it was fun to learn something new...I'm sure you are doing very good ;)
