Well said @paulag! I see steemit as a microcosm of the real world where a sense of entitlement is running rampant. Somehow, there's a lot of people who feel that they deserve all the benefits of this platform without actually putting any work into it. Wrong!
From here on in, I will be trying not to vote for accounts that do not invest in themselves and are takers and not givers.
I think that will be my new motto as well :)
