Today while I was at my 9-5 job, I came up with an idea on how to spread the Steemit word and start Steemitizing new members to get them join our community. So I’ve decided that from now on that whenever I have a business meeting, birthday party or any type of social activities, I will get new people to sign up so we can keep conquering more territory worldwide to reach the goal we all want from this excellent initiative we’re being part of and be in the future we are all building from Steemit.
I know that this will be a very hard task I have on my hands because Colombia is ranked on the 57th position out of 70 countries that have been put under exams to test the level of English as a second language (http://www.ef.com.co/epi/), this is a pretty low position making it much harder for our community to be privileged by receiving this firsthand information like I have. I feel that it is my duty and it’s only right that I give back to my closer circle and my people in general by educating them and teaching them about the power of the Cryptocurrencies and the brilliant times ahead of us. They really deserve the opportunity to start using this space because we have a lot of great writers, artists, actors that are underrated and they could change their lives drastically for better learning how to use this powerful tool to its best.
Actually during this business meeting I was speaking to two of my friends about Bitcoin and how this is the future to secure our money to protect it in a country like ours that is started to being impacted negatively by the inflation and other economic indicators. For instance, Raul Camacho on my right hand side is a Venezuelan entrepreneur; writer, investor and you can only imagine how beneficial it will be for him to start using BTC. This led us to speaking about the projections and all of the positive things that Steemit has and how easy it was to start contributing to expansion of the project through users that believe and bet with their eyes closed on the positive results the future holds for us. So now from this part of the world we welcome another two fellows to the 40.000+ Steemians.
But first we coulnd't close off successfully this meeting without Brewskies, Empanadas and smoked bacon! :D
Let me introduce myself. I have been living outside Colombia for some years, it would be interesting to know a little more about cryptocurrency community in Colombia. What do you think of this project?
bien parce!
