Taking hours to write posts but takes just few seconds to disappear from steemit

in #steemit8 years ago

It has been few days I am blogging on Steemit but My posts are not been shown to users enough to get Upvotes or comments. It's taking hours for me to write posts but it only takes few seconds for them to disappear from the list.

I have been trying to understand how the steemit alithogram works and if anybody know it do explain it will be very helpful for us.

Is it just me having this kind of a trouble or there are others too?

I upvoted You

Yeah it is happening to all of us. I to spend hours working on the post and if it doesn't catching in the first 30 minutes you kind of feel like it isn't going to make it. I have been able to do decent on here but the ones that people seem to like but don't make any money hurt. I just wrote another solid one and it is stalling out. Or at least I feel that way. I just made a post about this. Please consider upvoting me. I just upvoted you! https://steemit.com/steem/@brianphobos/linux-distributions-aren-t-confusing-but-crypto-forks-are-why-is-that

It really hurts esp when u see others posting small memes and making thousands of dollars

it's not exactlly trouble,. remember that the more upvotes you get the more people will read and vote. The entertainment or educational value of your post is what will catch the eye. Not all that take a peek at your post will vote for it. Lay out your heart and add a little bit of soul and see what happens. Good luck and Blessed Be!

Yes I do give my everything on whatever I write but yes I will keep doing what is in my hands

You're not alone. Was just thinking after looking at steemitstats how great it would be if they added another decimal place or two, even getting a little from an upvote would be great... This is blockchain tech, why not add an extra dp...

So yes, totally get that... I think my first post two or three weeks ago were worth a little but now I find I get more from random little comments. I think it has now transitioned to youtube like content where 1 in a million videos will make you super popular for a week then the users move on.

Thank you for showing your support now I feel bit better that I am not alone.

They don't disappear from 'new' section of particular tag that fast. People interested in topic they are looking for still can find it even after few days.

They disappear from new, active and they hardly come in hot or trending category for me

Exactly the same thing here I am trying to figure the same thing out

Let's hope we can figure something out in near future
