Soon after HF19 there was a sentiment in the platform of "being rich" or, at least, of receiving more SBDs for the votes from everyone. Three days after the big change, some realized this won't happen for this simple reason: "The number of votes worth SBDs decreased and now the voting slide bar applies for a better quality of the action of voting".
What do you mean with this post @manandezo?
Simple: now is the time to really read the posts before you vote. After your reading, you decide the percentage you'd like to give to the post. I know there are many good readers out there, especially oldtimers (please, no pun intended), but now, as many of you new users can see, the number of votes you used to receive decreased. If they didn't, and you're getting the same or a slightly bigger amount of SBDs than you did before the hardfork, you must really consider reviewing your posts.
And the robots?
Don't care about them. Their votes can be adjusted by the user, so you will receive the percentage the "master" sets them to do!
What should I do then?
Stay calm, relax, breathe and review your posts. Don't be afraid of posting short articles, long ones, pictures or whatever you want, just remember to make it unique, providing information of your pictures (if in doubt, talk to @photo-trail and ask for help, he was the one that helped me). When you need pictures that are not yours, remember to link it to the person that owns it, or to ask for permission if it is under any author rights. If you like blogging about whatever topic, provide additional information when possible; it is good to know more about the subject and it can be used as an inspiration for another post, which will be linked to yours and it will increase the chances of people knowing you and your publications on Steemit.
Challenges for beginners
If you like to take part of challenges and write small posts, this is a great start so you can be used to the platform and your posts will get some visibility. When you're well known by the community, it is time for you to advance and these steps are only yours as we all have different ways to maintain the attention of our audience.
Oh, wait! I did all that and failed! What did I do wrong?
No one red your posts or upvoted you? On your very first "polished" post? Relax, you didn't do anything wrong! Believe me, all is right but you can't expect to win 1,000 votes or SBDs on your first posts. Give it a time and surf the platform. Get to know what is the trend and get involved. Remember: "building trust takes time in life and here is not different".
Post happily and don't wait for rewards. They will come sooner or later, and it will all depend on yourself only!

Thank you @florinmanica! Happy posting!
Thank you for the effort to provide people value. This is a long article but it's really intersting. Most of my posts are short and are not read so much but I hope I will get more followers in time. You have a new follower. I will appriciate it if you follow and upvote me too :))
Thank you so much @boris! You will get more followers in the future. This is a matter of how you post + what you post + niche of your post. It took me some time to understand things as well, and all will be fine, believe me. Just don't worry and keep posting what you like and make people be interested by it. =)
You are quite right. You are someone very supposed to.
That's why I wrote it!
Very well. In fact, these days many people act or expect to get something as soon as possible. It doesn't work that way. It's necessary to learning from life and human being.Hugs.
