I've been on steemit for a few weeks now, and posted a few short stories. One was featured in the Golden Nuggets chain, but I just want to say that I appreciate your attempts to get quality content noticed and given at least some reward. I think I like many people who are not cryto-currency gurus or well established anarchists but really dig the platform and the exposure to quality literature and art that may otherwise be unseen, dig what you are doing as it seems to me so far that when I have time, I scroll the new post section more than the trending articles of the same 10-15 who contribute to the community but get all the rewards are not in need of any attention. I still don't understand how the curation works and am personally learning to create vivid layouts for post so the next time I post it may garner more attention. Also, still not sure what happens to stories after the 24 hours period as far as rewards. There are some stories I have found that I upvote after a week or so and don't know if that has any affect or reward for the creator. Any input on this front would be appreciated... For now, when I get on here, I'm just truly digging all the great content and either read and reply, or write my own... Also, I'm presently living in Cambodia, and a few steemers I've met here seem to stay up late as most of the community seems to be North American based and tell me that the best time to post is late at night here, as it will be seen midday over there...
