How Steemit is changing my life

  1. As a divorced middle-aged woman , living alone, mother of an already married girl. Steemit gives me "the" opportunity of sharing my thoughts. Gives me the hope of finding someone who will value my ideas. Who knows? May be I can find someone who thinks like me?
  2. My main intention in Steemit, I can tell sincerely, is not make money. (Yet, who refuses money? I have a friend who used to say that not even crazy people tear money.) My purpose is to tell about what I feel passion: music, math and English teaching, stories of the several lives I lived and the diverse experiences I had on life, as the search of a boyfriend. Of course, I won't fill this with non-wanted stories. If my posts continue not being read, I'll finally give up.
  3. Most of my friends, at my age, are established, taking care of their grandchildren . I don't criticize anyone. For me, it wouldn't work. Ten years ago, at the age of 50 , I started at my current job, which was one of the biggest challenges for me, as I had to get better results than more than 19.000 college degreed people and excel my bad memory issue.
  4. My problem is: I have many thoughts. I like to have ideas, I like to share what I create. I assure you I would set an advice memo to myself which remembers me every day to not get my work colleagues tired with my talking. They are nice people, but we are there to work. I have always much to say, much to tell.

What to do? I even went to a psychologist, but after 20 sessions she dismissed me. So, few days ago, STEEMIT was presented to me by my son-in-law.

My life is richer because of Steemit. I have one more purpose. Of course you can imagine: my co-workers already know all about Steemit. My family is dear and was with me taking photos for the post about Brasília. My daughter and my son-in-law participate, as I ask them if I should or not write about the subjects.

Let me finish just saying THANK YOU Steemit community!

It's good to have you here! If you have a lot to tell, this is a good place to share your thoughts and feelings. It is getting crowded here but you never know who may see a post of yours, and have it change their life in some way. Best wishes!

Thank you! I have a lot of stories to tell, "but" maybe people here isn't interested in them. Anyway, I'm grateful for the opportunity. A writing teacher once said I had a unique way of see life. I was in his course preparing for a big contest where I would have my writing work evaluated. According to that teacher, I would have to be lucky in order to my work be read by a person that appreciated how I saw the world. Of course, there are other huge barriers, as language, culture, age. So, maybe I won't be "liked" by many Steemit's, but if one, like you, finds my post and reads it, I consider myself lucky already. Thank you for that, Kenny-crane.
