I run the Steemit Facebook group and a lot of new people keep asking me if it is real, or telling me that they will try it once they see Steemit "Send me money". And I keep having to explain Bitcoin and everything to individuals.

So today I made some money trading STEEM and STEEM Dollars on Bittrex, and I decided that I am going to make a Withdrawal in Bitcoin, then USD, just to prove to everyone that it actually can be done.
A lot of people doubt that you can actually get money for STEEM, so within the next week I am going to make a Proof of Concept type post (showing the whole process, and money at the end), just to prove to everyone that it does work. So if anyone wants a post you can share with your friends to show them that they can really really actually make money on Steemit, that post is coming up this week.
I work for people in the insurance industry and banking industry and none of them even believe bitcoin is considered to be money but Steem is even better. I'm looking forward to the guide so I can show them! ...And I'm a cleaner!
People are so weird... starting tomorrow I'll be proxying out of my work machine through an SSH tunnel to a raspberry pi that I bought with money I made here...
