Thankfully though, there is a good amount of very high quality posts and posters.
I feel we should keep it real though, there are also many issues, and a fair amount of work and evolving to do. If we push it as being the best social media site ever, many will come and be disappointed and leave. Push it as 'favourite' social media for sure, and that it's unique and shows great promise, especially to content providers and to encourage people that now is the time to be here.
I agree with most of what you say @@@lordneroo, and I admire your enthusiasm. This is indeed an exciting place to be and a great adventurous experiment that we're all involved in, that shows a great deal of promise as it evolves, but when you say "I've never come across useless posts", I hope you don't mind, but I have to wonder, "have you really looked around steemit, including the trending posts?", as there are a lot of posts with very poor quality content posted on steemit.
