Hi @fucho80,
Thanks for the memo and for giving me an opportunity to comment on this very important blogpost.
Again selected a perfect factor to discuss and this blogpost perfectly explains how the "Discipline" factor locks the "Success" factor within itself with a picture perfect precision!
"It is very difficult to see someone undisciplined triumph..... "
This happens very rarely and this triumph won't last long and hence this one in million case need not be considered!
"... I read about a Japanese saying that says: **_"Discipline Sooner or later will overcome intelligence""
Yes, yes. This saying says it wonderfully.
Whenever I come across the word "Japan", my mind will be inspired because of their superb qualities such as punctuality, cleanliness, hardworking attitude, perseverance, and the like.
To unlock the treasure called "Goal", we need to have a key called "Discipline".
To give an example, let me tell you about my father T. Lakshmi Ratna Gandhi who is a hard worker right from his young age. He is a UG in Physics and used to take practicals in that subject.
He used to go a long way from a village called Madipakkam all the way to Ponneri(Loganadha Narayanaswamy Arts College). He is really an uncrowned emperor in the teaching of Physics practicals. Take for example, Spectrometer experiment. It is really a tough experiment and he will do that experiment (and all experiments for that matter) with ease and his 30-year-old professional career is based on a strong, solid foundation called "Discipline".
Albeit inspired by his discipline, I was unable to follow it and failed miserably in my life. That one factor which brought "Success" in his life and that the lacking of that very same factor reduced my life into nothing.
