Actually this reward change is a really good idea! I think it's better because you can help people to be seen! :)
Anyways I have a question, can you do a video (or tell me) about the profitability of the steem bots? I mean when I have small account is it good to boost my posts even with small amounts? like 0.1 bids? For example I did bid 0.1 SBD and get $0.20 upvote so does it good for me or not? Or maybe could you tell me how do use bots better way for small accounts like mine? (sorry if my question looks a little chaotic)
True, the added exposure helps as well. And as far as profitability goes, it really depends on the bot in question. Some bots (like mine) set a minimum ROI %. I've got mine set to a minimum ROI of -10% and those who bid on my bot typically see between 10-100% ROI from what I've seen. I've even seen as high as 300% but that's pretty rare. So I would personally recommend only using bots that have this set and you can see this on https://steembottracker.com.
As far as exposure goes, you're basically competing with other posts out there. If you want to hit the Hot or Trending sections via upvote bot, then you'll need to use several smaller bots or a couple of bigger bots (with more money). I've noticed that the bigger bots tend to not set an ROI limit and therefore are less profitable. As my bot grows though, it will remain at a high ROI due to the limit.
Anyways, these are some great questions. And perhaps this is something I could cover in a video in the future. Thanks for the questions and the idea.
Yeah no problem I would love to see that video :)
So I guess I need to look for some bots with ROI limit right? But still is it worth it to do really small bids? How do you think?
Yes I think so. It's still profitable (as long as you use bots with the ROI limit) and it will boost your post some.. even if it's not at the top 5 of the Hot page.
Ok thank you :D there is another question: I uploaded a video on dtube and I want to get upvotes so can I use bot on Dtube link? Or should I better use it on steemit post of this video?
Yep you sure can and it will upvote the post on both Steemit and Dtube. Technically it’s upvoting the one post but shows in both places. 👍🏻
Oh ok, thank you :D
@brandonfrye sorry for all this questions but I just uploaded a video that I think is really good and I think it deserves to be seen by more people. Actually today I won a photography contest so I have 2SBD to spent on bots and I just wanted to do it right way :D
